Winery Review: "Very nice sweet low alcohol wine. Will have to search for more of it. Remember this is a 5.5% alcohol wine. Very tough to make and different than typical wine." (July 2020)
Wine Folly: These wines range in taste from dry (trocken) to sweet (süss or süß) and offer aromas of cherries, fresh blackberry, and spiced herbs. I mainly tasted cherries and berry flavor but because it was much sweeter than most red wines I did not taste any spices.
My Review: I really enjoyed this wine, it was sweet but not over the top. I tasted the dark sweet cherry taste and the rich rose floral notes of it. It felt velvety going down and left a sweet taste in my mouth. I would drink this again. I drank this with my chipotle chicken and rice for dinner.
